938LIVE launched as NewsRadio 938 in 1998 and rebranded to its current name on 13th June 2005. 938LIVE is the only English news-talk radio station in Singapore with news updates every half-hourly between 6am and midnight, and also business and sports updates at various times of the day. The station's studios is located at Caldecott Broadcast Centre, Andrew Road, Singapore and the transmitter station is located at Bukit Batok Hill Transmitting Station, 21 Lorong Sesuai, Singapore. 938LIVE is a 24-hour operating station except on Sundays where it signs-off at midnight, and except Holy Week of each year where it signs-off at midnight of Maundy Thursday and lasts until 6 am of Easter Sunday (this sign-off routine is also the same as most of the broadcast radio stations in the Philippines).
