Famous quotes containing the words christmas and/or carol:

At Christmas I no more desire a rose
Than wish a snow in May’s new-fangled shows,
But like of each thing that in season grows.

    Herod, the king,
    In his raging,
    Charged he hath, this day,
    His men of might
    In his owne sight
    All yonge children to slay.
