Famous quotes containing the words personal and/or life:

Let no guilty man escape, if it can be avoided.... No personal considerations should stand in the way of performing a duty.
    Ulysses S. Grant (1822–1885)

Let the whiteness of bones atone to forgetfulness.
There is no life in them. As I am forgotten
And would be forgotten, so I would forget
    Thus devoted, concentrated in purpose.
    —T.S. (Thomas Stearns)
