- Epiphanius of Pavia (439–496)
- Epiphanius of Salamis (ca 310–20 – 403), bishop of Salamis in Cyprus, author of the Panarion, or Medicine Chest against Heresies
- Epiphanius of Constantinople, (520–535), Patriarch of Constantinople
- Epiphanius Scholasticus (6th century), assistant of Cassiodorus who compiled the Historiae Ecclesiasticae Tripartitae Epitome, ca. 510.
