Regions and Aeronautical Center Operations
From an operational standpoint, FAA is divided into nine regions plus Headquarters in Washington, DC, the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, and the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City. The nine regions are
- Alaskan – Anchorage, Alaska
- Northwest Mountain – Renton, WA
- Western Pacific – Hawthorne, CA
- Southwest – Fort Worth, TX
- Central – Kansas City, MO
- Great Lakes – Chicago, IL
- Southern – Atlanta, GA
- Eastern – New York City
- New England – Burlington, MA
