Film

The 1952 film Hans Christian Andersen, though inspired by Andersen and his legacy, is neither historically nor biographically accurate. Indeed, it makes no claim to accuracy, and includes a graphic stating "This is not the story of his life, but a fairy tale about this great spinner of fairy tales."
