Hebrew in Judaism
According to some Jewish religious traditions, Hebrew was the language of the creation. Likewise, Hebrew is considered to be the one language spoken by the united mankind before the dispersion connected with the Tower of Babel. According to Jewish esoteric teachings, the Hebrew letters are the lifeforce of all things created, determining their essence.
