History
Jungo was founded in 1998 as KRFTech Ltd., by two former Checkpoint Software Technologies employees, Derry Shribman and Ofer Vilenski (who served as the company's first CEO), initially specializing in creating toolkits for hardware developers, later expanding to provide residential gateway technologies. In April 2000 the company changed its name to Jungo Ltd.
In April 2001, Jungo raised $7 Million in its second round of financing. The round was led by venture capital fund TeleSoft Partners, and was joined by Infineon Ventures and the Intel Capital.
During 2003 Jungo won Toshiba and Samsung as customers, in September the same year, Jungo raised $5.5 Million in a third round of funding.
On 4 December 2006 Jungo was acquired by the NDS Group for $107 million.
On 15 March 2012 Cisco Systems announced the acquisition of the NDS Group for a $5B.
