Sister Cities

Kagoshima is twinned with the following four cities overseas.

  • Naples, Italy (since 3 May 1960)
  • Perth, Australia (since 23 April 1974)
  • Changsha, China (friendship relationship, since 30 October 1982)
  • Miami, United States (since 1 November 1990)

It has also been twinned with Tsuruoka, Yamagata in Japan since 7 November 1969.
