Liang Qichao (simplified Chinese: 梁启超; traditional Chinese: 梁啟超; pinyin: Liáng Qǐchāo; Wade–Giles: Liang Ch'i-ch'ao, Leung Chi-tso (used in Hawaii in 1900), styled Zhuoru, 卓如; Pseudonym: Rengong, 任公; February 23, 1873 – January 19, 1929) was a Chinese scholar, journalist, philosopher, and reformist during the late Qing Dynasty and early Chinese Republic who inspired Chinese scholars with his writings and reform movements.
