Neelam Sanjiva Reddy pronunciation (19 May 1913 - 1 June 1996) was the sixth President of India, serving from 1977 to 1982. He is the only person to be elected to the office unopposed. Over the course of a long political career, Reddy held several key offices, including the first Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh state and Speaker of the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India's Parliament.
