Faculty of Medicine
The Faculty of Medicine is a state-funded Medical Faculty that was founded, as a distinctive and independent structure of "Ovidius" University of Constanţa, under the name of Faculty of General Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy in 1990. Although it is considered one of the youngest ones in the country, it is one the most dynamic and ambitious among the other Medical Faculties in Romania.
Since 1993, the Faculty of Medicine started the modules of teaching in the English and French language at all levels and specializations, both in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Currently there are over 200 foreign students, enrolled in Undergraduate and Postgraduate study in the English language. The majority of students come from Greece, Israel, Sri Lanka, Norway, Sweden, France, USA, Great Britain, Nigeria, Cameroon, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Morocco, Syria and many more.
