High-speed Traffic

In 2005–2010, JSC Russian Railways has launched a program to introduce new high-speed trains. The first train launched — Sapsan (Peregrine Falcon) which connects St. Petersburg, Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod. Second train — Allegro — runs from December 2010 from St. Petersburg to Helsinki (Finland) via the city of Vyborg. Famous quotes containing the word traffic:

To treat a “big” subject in the intensely summarized fashion demanded by an evening’s traffic of the stage when the evening, freely clipped at each end, is reduced to two hours and a half, is a feat of which the difficulty looms large.
    Henry James (1843–1916)
