Fenestrae
The fenestrae (from Latin, meaning windows) are openings in the skull.
- Antorbital fenestra
- Mandibular fenestra
- Palatal fenestra, as found in Marsupials
- Quadratojugal fenestra
- Subsquamosal fenestra, an opening between two parts of the squamosal bone in some rodents
- Temporal fenestra
Ceratopsia dinosaurs may have fenestrae in their frills.
