Thuraiyur is well connected by road to Trichy, Namakkal, Perambalur, Coimbatore, Ooty, Chennai, Karur, Attur and Salem. Thuraiyur is also well connected to the neighbouring villages by mini buses. The nearest railway station and airport is located in Trichy. There are direct buses available to Coimbatore also, else one can take a bus to Trichy or Salem and ten take a train/bus to Coimbatore.
