Symptoms of an overdose include

  • Somnolence (drowsiness)
  • Impaired motor function
  • Slurred speech
  • Coma
  • Hypoventilation (respiratory depression)
  • Seizures has been reported.
  • Anterograde amnesia in overdoses higher than 1–3 mg.

Death can occur from triazolam overdose but is more likely to occur in combination with other depressant drugs such as opiates, alcohol, or tricyclic antidepressants.
