F-relatedness
Given a smooth function between manifolds, f: M → N, the derivative is an induced map on tangent bundles, f*: TM → TN. Given vector fields V: M → TM and W: N → TN, we can ask whether they are compatible under f in the following sense. We say that W is f-related to V if the equation holds.
