Zayd Ibn Ali
Zayd ibn ‘Alī (Arabic: زيد بن علي, also spelled Zaid; 695-740) was the grandson of Husayn ibn Alī, the grandson of Muhammad. Zayd was born in Medina in 695. He is the son of Imam ‘Alī ibn Husayn "Zayn al-Abidīn".
